Firstly, apologies for the delay in getting the September newsletter out to you.  As you can imagine, September is one of the busiest months with the Southampton Boat Show.  Our team arrived back in Falmouth only last week.  Exhausted but happy at the turnout of the show!

The show season is well and truly underway - and, as always, it's great to see what everybody else in the industry has been up to!  New models abound from the mainstream producers, and a few interesting new yachts have appeared from the 'high end' of the spectrum.  Having read most of the reports however, it does seem that the Rustler 33 'stole' the Southampton show!

Our new boat really did look the part, sitting happily next to the Rustler 24; it really was a pleasure to see peoples reaction. 

We are now planning demonstration sails, initially in Falmouth and then along the South Coast and possibly on to the Lake District.  If you would like to have a sail, please do contact us on the normal number.

Our busy boat yard - Falmouth Boat Yard, is now in full swing with the first few of what ends up being some 240 yachts hauled out.  For those of you looking for a great place to 'winter' your boat, please do give us a call:  we can lift up to forty tons and the Yard is tree-less and clean.  Also, we tend to be a good deal less expensive than some other South Coast yards!

Our refit team - Falmouth Yacht Services is just about to start an interesting project.  We are starting a complete internal refit (everything!) on a Gallant 53.  The family owned yacht is well loved, but most of the interior fit-out and equipment has reached the end of its usable life.  We will refit her to 'Rustler' standards, and she will then give many more years of service.
