August has been very hectic indeed.  With Southampton Boat show just two weeks away, we've been busy putting together the final touches - (Rustler shirts and jackets are very important!)  We've re-launched the Falmouth Harbour Commissioners' Pilot Boat which has spent the last couple of months getting re-fitted and we're extremely proud to announce that HRH The Princess Royal & Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence have commissioned a brand new Rustler 44 for summer 2012 delivery.

This years’ Southampton Show will be one of the best; mainly because we are introducing our fabulous new Rustler 33! As you can see from the picture above, our very first Rustler 33 is near completion and will be out of the factory by the end of the week ready to be rigged up.  I think you'll agree she has come on leaps and bounds since last month's newsletter.

The Southampton Boat Show is one of the best boat shows in the world - we know, we’ve done most of them – and the vibe on a sunny afternoon on the marina is just great.  Please do come and visit us if you are able, it would be great to show you around the boats. 

The new R33 will be joined by a 24, 42 'Whinchat' and 44 'Little Dove' – the Rustler 36 is having a year off this year (I think that there has been one at the Show nearly every year since 1986, so most people know what it looks like!).

Our team, including Simon Carter and David Triggs from our brokerage Red Ensign will also be in attendance. So if you're thinking of selling a boat, these are the guys to talk to.

Falmouth Yacht Services have seen an array of different boats over the years, but the most unusual re-fit request came from Falmouth Harbour Commissioners to give their pilot boat 'L K Mitchell' a sprucing up. 

She has spent the past couple of months in our re-fit tent having all sorts of improvements done to her, such as, antifouling to re-painting the decks to new engine room funnels and new rudder tables - a vast improvement to the 30+ year old vessel.

And finally, probably the most exciting news of the month......

Rustler Yachts are delighted to confirm that HRH The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence have commissioned a new Rustler 44 for delivery summer 2012.
